What is The Best of Greene County™?
The Best of Greene County™ is a fun-filled Reader’s Choice contest brought to you by the Greene County Chamber of Commerce and The Daily Mail. Each year, we invite Greene County residents to nominate and vote for their favorite local businesses across more than 50 categories. The nomination and voting process will take place on a digital platform, with a link available on our website and Facebook page starting December 15th.
What Makes a Business Eligible? Can I Nominate a Business?
To participate, a business must be located in Greene County and fit into one of our established contest categories. Greene County Chamber member businesses are automatically included on the ballot. Non-member businesses can be nominated by a Greene County resident during the initial voting period from December 15, 2024 to January 25, 2025.
How Does It Work?
Round One: Nominations kick off on December 15th and continue through January 25, 2025. This round will determine the finalists. During this time, non-member businesses can either nominate themselves or be nominated by Greene County residents. The top three nominees in each category will move on to Round Two.
Round Two: Voting for the top three nominees in each category runs from January 26 through February 23, 2025. PARTICIPANTS MAY VOTE ONCE PER DAY! It’s a great way for Greene County residents to support their favorite businesses. The winners will be revealed during our Best of Greene County Awards Celebration on March 28th.
