The Chamber is dedicated to helping members grow and benefit from their chamber affiliation:

  • Free ribbon-cutting ceremonies for members’ grand openings, re-openings, remodels, and anniversaries.
  • Listing on the Chamber website with a shout-out for new members in our weekly E-newsletter.
  • Seminars, networking lunches, and business-after-hours events are offered monthly so members can share information and learn about each other.
  • Access to the chamber mailing list to promote your products or services through direct mail. Or, run an ad in the Chamber’s weekly eNewsletter, which is distributed to 2,000 online subscribers.
  • Member-to-member discounts are available to members throughout the year.
  • Access to health care plans, with a variety of prices and options from the area’s top providers, available to members with less than 50 employees.

The Chamber’s Ribbon Cutting ceremony is a great way to announce a new business, anniversary, renovation, or expansion.

The Chamber’s Executive Director will help coordinate media coverage and preside over the event.

On-Going Member Benefits

Website Business Listings & Member-to-Member eBlasts

  • Every member receives a free listing in the searchable Member Directory on the Chamber website, including a hyperlink to their own company’s website.
  • Members may also place online display ads at a discounted price.
  • Members can promote a special sale, new product, promotion, or event through the Chamber’s Member-to-Member E-blasts, which are sent out every Wednesday to over 2,000 members and recipients.

Printable Member Directory Marketing Opportunities

  • All Chamber members are promoted through the Greene County Chamber of Commerce Business Directory, which is distributed annually to businesses, organizations, and residents as well as in our quarterly digital magazine, Greene County NOW.
  • Listings are arranged by business category.
  • Members may also place display ads at a discounted rate.
  • Chamber members have exclusive access to our mailing list – a cost-effective way to reach over 400 area businesses.

Event Partnerships

  • Chamber members enjoy a number of sponsorship opportunities throughout the year, including annual Partnerships such as our Golf Tournament, Recognition Gala, Women in Business, monthly Networking Events, and much more.
  • All Chamber partnerships allow members to reach a select audience of business leaders.

Open Houses

  • Members have the opportunity to host their own open house, either after a ribbon cutting or a milestone such as an anniversary, renovation/expansion, or other milestones.

Health Insurance

As the number, cost and complexity of health care plans continue to rise, the Chamber continually reviews its benefit plans with the goal of offering members more choices for quality, affordable health care. Health care coverage is available for all member businesses with up to 100 employees.

We are proud to offer many Health Plan choices to our members. These plans are available through the Chamber as part of a benefit package — offering more choices for quality, affordable healthcare.
