Cordelia is a visionary entrepreneur and the proud founder and owner of Ze Windham Wine Bar. With experience spanning nearly 25 years, her passion for the wine and restaurant culture was ignited at award winning restaurant, Le Colonial, in California, where she was the Sales Manager.
Driven by her belief that exceptional cuisine deserves an equally exceptional wine pairing and captivating atmosphere, Cordelia has garnered numerous accolades for Ze Windham Wine Bar. The establishment was ranked an impressive 20th in Travel + Leisure’s esteemed list of “Best 25 Wine Bars in the US,” and Hudson Valley Magazine named it the number 1 wine bar in “These are the 30 best bars in Upstate NY”.
Ze Windham Wine Bar is an avant-garde idea and concept offering an elegant and inviting lounge with a world class wine program, impeccable service, and a heartwarming ambiance. Within a year of opening, Cordelia became a Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, and the first Sommelier to emerge on the Mountain Top restaurant and bar scene. The achievement inspired her to launch Wine School, a welcoming and thought-provoking Tuesday night wine tasting program. It’s now in its sixth year with a two-month waitlist. Growing a thriving business while continuing to learn, inspiring guests to return, and creating fulfilling employment opportunities continues to drive her passion. She’s a hometown success story!
